During the time of the realization of our project we acquainted with the necessary information about genetically modified products, their producing, realization, usage and possible influence on a human's organism.

But we think that the most important part of our project is spreading this information around our local community. For this purpose we:
  1. Made two reports for our Science classes: "Genetic engineering and the Plants' world" and "Genetic engineering and the Laws of our society".
  2. Interviewed our schoolmates on the following topic: "Your attitude towards GMP".
  3. Published the information on the problem of GMPs on our tables in our school newspaper "A Gymnasium of the XXI century".
  4. Conducted the action "What do we eat?" for our local society.
  5. Located the information about GMO on the site "Genetically Modified Products" in Internet.

At the end of our project we asked the question: "Has our project changed your life?" These are the answers we'd got:

Igor Smagin, 16, a schoolboy
"I haven't heard about it before! Genetically modified products is a problem which is new for me. I think we should know about it! When I have an opportunity I tell my friends and relatives about GMP. But I can't say that I've changed anything in my and their attitude towards GMPs. We use them!!!"

Irene Tzyganskaya, 23, a student
"From Mass Media I've heard about this problem, but I think it is artificial. It seems to me that GMP are not dangerous and we can use them as well as natural products.GMP have been existing not for only one year, we have been eating them for a long time even knowing so little about them. And nothing terrible has happened!!!"

Christine Polukhina, 18, a student
"I think this problem is not very important for our generation now. As far as I understood from your project we've been eating GNP for some years. Now I try to find the information about the products' contents on their packing, but it doesn't influence my choice."

Yana Sountzova, 30, a teacher
"I've never heard about the problem of GMP. It is very important to take care of the health in my age. And food is a very important part of it. While buying some products I always read attentively the information on the packings. I think we should discuss this problem, it needs a solution. Your project can really help people to know about it and to choose consciously the food they need."
